… Memorable car of the day:
For today:
I just wanted
to say something, didn’t know what to say, so, let me say this!
It is
hot, humid and windy in central Florida.
WE are in Florida. If there are sides
between the state and Disney I don’t have a side. I understand there is a lot of fussing about
a passed law that some call, “Don’t say Gay!”
What I read is not what is said or tends to be said. What I understand is the law says schools
cannot broach the subject of gender in the first 3 grades of school. I tend to agree with the parts I have read.
In my mind a young child is not ‘mature’ enough to make decisions like why am I
a boy or girl other than what my plumbing says I am.
If a child
is ‘Mature enough’ to make that decision why not lower the voting age to 6 or
even 10?
Hey,
why can’t a 10 year old be allowed to use their allowance to buy a beer, they
just might like it.
Yeah I am
silly, but so are some things I read in the internet news.
Y’all
have a great day…. You probably don’t know I have bought a bridge hahahahahahahahaha!,
I wish they would deliver it. LOL I need to go North and cut my grass.
(smile) I have wonderful neighbors who
have been cutting the grass and feeding the feral cats, I need to get back.
If you
know Governor DeSantis. Ask him to speed
up my bridge delivery! LOL

I agree with with the common sense. It's not so common any more. Kids are kids no matter where they are and should be treat as such. Some never really do grow up. When mine get together at home they love acticking like kids again. It's our job as parents to help them grow up into responsible adults. We can't live their lives for them, but we need to tach them the basics.
That bill "Don't Say Gay" is a good bill but those who oppose of it want it to be worse than it is so that's why they went with the "Don't Say Gay" part of it, to make it seem like it is discriminatory against those who want to pursue that lifestyle. Ridiculous on their part! A young child is not capable of making a life altering decision at an early age. It is again ridiculous that there are parents that support their young child wanting to change their gender at age 6 and start the process a few years later. A form of child abuse I do believe.
That bridge definitely is on back order! Must be part of the supply chain issues :)
betty
Gosh Jack, you really could make this easier on me. (*grin*) Pretty sure I've not read on this subject as thoroughly (as you), but neither do I get my news via FB.
All I can say is, I'm disgusted by the current Disney-esque climate (to include arrests for child porn) and WOKE culture. Sometimes I think the Man upstairs is shaking His head in disbelief.
The world is in a bad place right now, and many are confused, bewildered and afraid. This is the time when our faith is tested. Do we trust God enough?
God bless.
Victor is so right...we do need to keep the faith. God knows what's best. Our world is in such a bad state. Keep- your faith stronger than ever.
loven'hugs from up north where it was a most beautiful day and lovin'it !!!
