Title…… I have an appointment
… Memorable car of the day:
For today:
So yes
I did get that call, but the appt isn’t until Wednesday. Must be gonna be good, EVERY appt I have had
until now has been 10AM. This one is a
1PM. I am taking that as a good sign
LOL I have no idea why…
So we
will move the RV over closer and get ready for my dentist bridge building.
I do wish
it had been sooner, but it is what it is.
I waxed
most of one side of the coach. If I keep
this up I will get the whole coach waxed before we hit the road to NC.
Just a
thought. Did you ever have the ‘privilege of knowing ‘a jerk at work?’ I left a
good job once because of a boss who was a jerk, I actually regretted it because
he left just after I did. I thought of that today remembering ‘B’ here in the
bloggisphere. She come close to leaving a job she liked because of a jerk, but SHE
outlasted the jerk. We smiled at her up beat entry lately about being wined and
dined at her job to celebrate the end of the Covid restrictions.
I was
reminded of the phrase often used, “This too shall pass, while awaiting my
crazy bridge.” LOL
That is my
input for today I know you are happy about that. Oh yeah, I have one more thing I learned on
Victor’s blog. He suggested since ballet
dancers had to stand on their toes so much, the studios should get taller
dancers. That made sense to me….. Doesn’t
it? LOL
Be safe……
Stand tall!

Oh man, I wish I had your patience! Yes, I once left a wonderful, well-loved job on account of my new boss. Noreen was as evil as they come; unfortunately, she wasn't found out and fired until more than a year had passed. I won't say I hated her; only if she were on life support I might unplug her in order to charge my cell phone. LOL!
LOL, Jack, thanks for the shout out! It's funny but that employee that was a "jerk" has left 2 months ago. What a difference it was in the office a day later after she left. So much more calmer!
Glad you got an appointment for the bridge! At least it is a start to hopefully having it completed so you can head where you want to go next in your travels!
betty
Best wishes for your Wednesday appointment. Praying for you.
Thanx for the mention, Jack. Did you know that Voltaire invented electricity? Shocking ... everyone thought he was a writer.
A lot of people invented things relating to their names; like Hoover, and Thermos, and Guinness, and Col Saunders - his initials are KFC. Check it out.
God bless.
Yes, everything passes and nothing stays the same. Good idea to wax the coach while you are waiting. It helps to keep busy. I never quit a job because of a jerk, but yes, I have worked with some. I think it's a given when working with people. But I try to remember that is no reason for me to act badly just because they did. Sounds like it won't be long now until you are headed home ! Keep thinking positively! Love from sunny and warm Ohio! Have a great Memorial Day !
If you forget your appt. thinking it's at your usual 10 a.m. you won't have to worry you missed it cuz it's at 1pm. Good luck with your bridge work. I used to love waxing our motor home. I got a pretty nice tan while I was at it !!!
Cute about the ballet dancers....one of my grandloves is a ballet dancer. Also, I'm glad you're getting closer to your home with the cats. They may have a surprise for you.! or another litter. lol
~loven'hugs from up north where we're replacing our tub/shower unit for a safer walk-in shower....soooo glad.
