( I am Just wondering what the media would have said if Palin had worn the same dress at two different political affairs. Ha, some you will never win!)
I followed Debbie’s advice on the posting comments. Hope it works here. I like it, tried it on hers. Nothing reached out and smacked me up beside the head and said you used the wrong pass word etc.
The book is off again and out of my hands. Once I get the proof, I WILL NOT READ it. I will make sure there are no blank pages and say it is a go. And that is that.
I got a wonderful surprise last night. I got an alert that a comment was on my old ShipsLog. I went to it and it was ‘Lindie’. You may not know or remember your first comment on a blog, but I do. It was Lindie, she said she had been reading the log for awhile and agreed with most of what I said. I wouldn’t have cared if she said it stunk. I honestly never expected a comment. I was just writing for myself and the family if they wanted to know where we were. It had been a long time since she commented and I was worried that she threw the computer out the window. She was never a daily person, just every once in awhile. The kind that boosts you a lot. Anyway if you read this one Lindie, I loved hearing from you.
I still have the Lobster place, Dick’s I think. I have it written down. Gotta go there when we make our next trip to the North EASt. We were in Cape Cod over looking Buzzards Bay, or talking about it the first time she commented. It brought back memories to her also. I do love lobster. The only time we eat it is when we are in New England.
I had planned to wash this motor home today but it was VERY windy. So any excuse is as good. I will wait until later.
Our Favorite pastor has been in Branson for a seniors meeting, we expect them back soon. They have a daughter in Kaintuck, gotta stop by there and visit on the way back to Florida.
I have been reading our ballot. Do you have a lot of bond and constitutional amendments on yours? If so can you read and understand what they are saying?
If I think of it I am going to copy one on this Blog to see if you can understand it. Lawyers cannot write anything simple, it is against their code. If you are a fisher or hunter you find you have to have a lawyer explain what is legal.
Thanks for coming this way.

I changed my comments too. At least I think I did. I hope I did. lol Glad you got your tooth fixed. We never went to dentist or doctors growing up. Boy! Did I have a mouth full of cavities when I did go. The last time I went to the doctor he told me "I see you have a lot of money in your mouth". I don't get into politics much but I agree with you about that comment of Mrs. Palin wearing the same dress twice. The news media would have jumped on her like a dog on a bone. Hi to Sherry and I hope Shirl doesn't get discouraged with blogging.

Glad the book it gone and everything is
cleaned up. About the dress, I would said she
had that dress on yesterday. We don't wear the same thing twice to events. I love Lobster also. This blogging is a bear. Here today gone tomorrow. Wonder if a Doctor can computerize my brain. How do you get color on a blog my is so plain. Brother I put a little about me on my blog. You know how I like privacy.

This way does make it easier to comment. At least you don't feel like you're walking through a maze trying to get in and out of it.
That's great that you got a comment from your first commenter. Hopefully, she follows you here. We may be writing for ourselves in our journals but it's always nice when someone leaves a comment. I'm actually shocked I get any comments, hahaha. It's fun to read them and I've met several I consider friends even if I will never meet them in person.
You don't need my opinion about your book but here it is anyway, lol. I think you are making a smart move not reading through it again cause if you did you would see things that you would decide needed changing, better to leave it alone.
I planned to clean house today but I had better things to do. I played around with my journal, hahaha. That was a lot more fun than cleaning house.
Tell Shirl it's fun making your journal pretty they have all kinds of colors to choose from and it's easy to change them. If she needs help tell her to give me a holler.

I'm going to change my comment thing when I get back over to my blog; I'm playing catch up; busy week I had

we have 12 propositions on our state ballot; we are early voting tomorrow; hubby and me went over them tonight; got them all figured out; it is complicated with the language they write it in; bottom line on my voting this year if it doesn't make sense, costs a lot of money and will involve a committee to keep it going, its a no vote
