I am not a big Fig eater. Sushi doesn’t yank my chain. Too much smoking is not good. (On that subject, I remember how good a cigarette was right after a meal, I have always thought if I could limit myself to three cigarettes a day, that would be nice.) But I found I could not. I was a 1-2-3 packs a day, according to the pressure. I am finally ‘clean’. I still feel sorry for smokers who are relegated to a table behind the building. (ha!)
Smoking is not socially accepted anymore, but for anyone who does or has, it is a great relief and escape. Enough of that, I want a Marlboro. haha! Just kidding, I am cheap and think of the cost. I remember when I said, ‘if smokes go to twenty-five cents a pack, they can forget it’. That was a joke on me. hahahahaha!! What are they now, $3 a pack?
I hate to see kids today getting hooked, all their extra money goes for smokes. That is tough.
I like rice pudding all right, but I am not crazy about it. I am not a chunky person either. I like my pies sorta smooth, not hunks. I love egg custards and pecan pies though. Cobblers are different you gotta expect hunks in cobs. Same with my Ice Cream (sorry Ben & Jerry), no chunky monkey for me, give me smooth Vanilla or Butter Pecan. (God created Butter pecan, because in the Bible it talks about ‘heavenly things’).
(I am not a Ben & jerry’s fan but my girl is a fan of ICE CREAM! so we have been to the plant in Vermont 3 times.)
There are even some blogs that are not real good. Do you ever do the ‘next blog’ thing at the top of a blog? Every once in awhile I will spend an hour just going thru blogs. I don’t care for blogs that are all politics. I have hit a couple tonight that are really good, young couples with children, those are neat reading their hopes and aspirations. Of course most are kids in Halloween get up.
Just rambling, I know, I have proven that some things are not good. thanks for coming by.

Maybe the reason you aren't a "chunky" person is also the reason you are not a "chunky" person physically. ~Mary
I am chunky :-( Not by nature. I worked in an office for 3 years. My body was used to labor I guess. I put on a lot of weight. It has been about 2 years since I left that job and still can't get it off. Loosing weight is hard. I'm really going to have to get some will power for that!
I also smoked since I was 13 years old. All the way up until this past April. About 13 years total. Smoking is an awful addiction. I still crave cigarettes. Cigarettes were everything to me! I stayed so sick though, I had to quit.

When I first graduated high school I worked at an insurance company who permitted cigarette companies to give out samples. That could have and probably did get so many people hooked. Thank goodness I didn't take that habit up.
I must admit that I love Ben and Jerry's Ice cream along with Hagen Daaz. It's a delight.
As for a blog within a blog, I have to be carefull because my mind is much faster than my typing and I have to go back and check what I said. It doesn't help that I'm a bit dylexci either.

My hubby used to smoke. Doesn't anymore. Caused his COPD and emphysema. He's paid the price for cigarettes. I LOVE mango or raspberry sorbet or spumoni. And if it ain't CHUNKY peanut butter, I don't eat it. LOL I do read the ‘next blog’ thing at the top of a blog. Did it last night. Picked up a couple new ones to follow. Take care.
I do that too with the next blog; it is interesting what you get; it is funny when you get a foreign language one.
Never smoked, but son did (grrrrr). But you are right, they are expensive these days!!
I tend to like the chunky of things, but I never said "no" to a pecan pie either!

Thankfully, I can usually find more good in a day than things that aren't good. It's not a perfect world and I'm not perfect either so I'm always trying to find the bright side of things. Hope your Thursday is a wonderful one.
I really hate to tell you this cause I will get a backlash from you. My hubby was ordered to stop smoking when he went in for heart surgery. He lied and told me he stopped. Since he lied about it he smokes when he takes Spunky or if he can't take him he can go to the back porch and prop the door open. Cigaretts are expensive. I tried to use that to shame him since we are limited on income. He got around that by smoking little cigars. the pack they come in is the size of a regular pack of ciggarets.I do understand the addiction and must admit the short while the was off of them he was crabby and I mean super crabby.
For some reason your blog won't load on my dashboard so I've got you under my favorites so I don't miss out on your infinite wisdom.:) Not sure if it'll let me comment but here goes anyway.
$3.00 a pack? You gotta be kidding?!? Here a carton of Marlboro at the cheapest is $43.99 + tax!!!!!!!!! We've both been smoking since we were young and though it's a very expensive habit we haven't found the willpower or the "want to" to give smoking up. I tried to quit but the urge for a cigarette was so strong I gave in and fired one up. Besides if we both quit we'd probably be jumping down each others throats.LOL!

I'm proud to say I'm smoke free since 2007. It wasn't easy. I think the price for a pack was $3.50 then and now it is over $6.00 here in Florida and $10.00 in Boston! Yikes!
I'm not a chunky person either. I seldom eat icecream these days. Do dairy and no meat for Vegans! This diet was not by my choice but for medical reasons my doctor deems necessary. It was unpleasant at first but not so bad now. Of course, I cheat now and then. LOL
Hugs, Rose
