Tax and the Politicians

Tax his work, Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts anyway!
Tax his cow, Tax his goat,
Tax his pants, Tax his coat.

goat

> Tax his ties, Tax his shirt,
> Tax his work,Tax his dirt.
> Tax his tobacco, Tax his drink,
> Tax him if he Tries to think
.

Tax his cigars, Tax his beers,
If he cries Tax his tears.
Tax his car, Tax his gas,
Find other ways To tax his ass.

> Tax all he has Then let him know
> That you won't be done Till he has no dough.
> When he screams and hollers; Then tax him some more,
> Tax him till He's good and sore.

coffin

Then tax his coffin, Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in Which he's laid...
Put these words Upon his tomb, 'Taxes drove me to my doom...'

When he's gone,Do not relax,

Its time to apply the inheritance TAX.

STRANGE:
Not one of these taxes existed 100 years
ago, & our nation was the most prosperous in the world.

We had absolutely no national debt, had
the largest middle class in the world, and Mom had a choice work at a job or stay home to raise the kids.

What in the heck happened? Can you
spell 'politicians?'

PS:

WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED IN 2,064 YEARS?
"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled,  public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."

EVIDENTLY NOTHING...

Yep, that's a lot of taxes. Back from the wet game here and sitting in front of the fire warming my bones. We did have a fun adventure. But a chilly and wet fun adventure.

They got us coming and going on those taxes! No easy answer here about them. The government does need money to run, schools, emergency services, etc. Does it need all our money though?

With all the money they're getting from taxes they shouldn't be broke. Lol. I know some families here in our small town that get more in food stamps a month then I draw in social security and they want to cut it.Yes some is kin folks and one I know has a husband in jail(not kin)I go to jail and they will take care of my family while I lay around and sleep and watch TV. just saying, lol.Take care, Jean.

Maybe it has to do with the amount of money the government dishes out. Food stamps, SSI, Unemployment, grants, so on.. They probably didn't have all that a hundred years ago.
