You are blowing your nose wrong!

All my life I have heard the simple statement when I could not get something to work or was having problems fixing things, I have been told, “You are not holding your mouth right!”

Now in view of that have you ever watched anyone working on a problem, they do make mouth gestures or make faces. Hence the statement, “You are not holding your mouth right.”

BUT on one AOL news entry today I read the best one (There is probably some truth here, it just sounded strange to me.)

I am amazed at the subjects that make the news, but I guess it is winter and time we start blowing our noses more.

Seems in this world we cannot do anything right. One big thing lately is we need to eat more FISH. HOWEVER, today I read that eating Tilapia is just as bad as eating bacon!

That may be true, but I had never heard of Tilapia until a few years back when we moved back to Florida and lived on Lake Dora.  My neighbor netted fish and did not eat Tilapia, when he learned that we did, most weeks after that,  I found a stringer of Tilapia tied to my pier, which I filleted and cooked. I really did like to eat them. BUT where has that fish been all my life?

I am sure if you are interested in how to blow your nose you can search AOL news and learn the proper way. (Since it is a video I could not understand it.)

Merry Christmas to all of you. I awoke to breakfast cooking this morning.
Some ting wrong at our house, I usually fix a smoothie. But Sherry figured since it was nearly 10 AM and I was still in bed she needed to do something to wake me.Smile

Thanks for coming by the Log.

My philosophy is try to do the best you can, no one knows what is inside your head but you. VERY FEW people set out to make others miserable, most of us humans like to love and spread good cheer. CHRISTMAS is the best time for that

The reason for Christmas

Out in the woods men blow their nose like this:

That toilet tissue gizmo looks very needed when I have a cold or allergy like I've had lately. Now it has settled in my teeth. I wish John didn't know how to blow his nose like that picture at the ranch. Yuck!

When I saw that last picture I made a disgusting surprised look.

Nice that you had a hot breakfast. I hope it was bacon rather than tilapia.

Do we do anything right? And the news - can't they put something good on it once in awhile! If you only watched the news like some people do - the world seems like a bad place. You put a good perspective on it. Merry Christmas.

Talk about an attention-getting headline! Loved the expressions - both the cartoons and photos!

Being a susceptible sort, I'm opting not to watch the 'how-to' video. I don't need any more rejection ... lol.

Love your "PS" ... lots of truth in one wee paragraph!

The more I learn the more I realize I don't know squat.
Merry Christmas

I have never heard the expression, “You are not holding your mouth right!” And I did not know there is a right or wrong way to blow your nose. LOVE tilapia, though.

Like Rick's comment, I learn something new every day too. It's amazing I got to be this age without knowing all these important facts. I know I probably do a lot of things the wrong way, but still I'm enjoying life as I know it and don't complain much. You are one blessed man getting up because you smelled breakfast cooking. Sherry I think you spoil him just a little ! Merry Christmas ! The sun is out in Ohio today and I need my sun glasses ! It is a welcome sight ! Hope you both have a wonderful day ! Happy Monday! Did I say have a Merry Christmas ? I do love saying it !
