We are in a motel, it is called Econolodge but there is little economical about it. LOL.
Our home is in the shop in Atlanta, maybe for days. We will rent a car in the morrow and head to NC to get our car.
Diagnosis is impossible until they get the wiring redone. When the belts came loose they took the engine wiring with them.
WE are so 'unused to' living out of a suit case, we forgot a lot.
Buddy & Lady Di
We are lost without the tow vehicle, lots of things we need to do.
Anyway, life is good. When we see the flooded homes in NC & SC we know we are blessed.
Will see what the next few days bring.
Y'all must be feeling so discombobulated; like having one hand bound behind your back?
Yes. Given the visual reminders of those still reeling from Florence, our trials pale. Love your attitudes!
Glad you are able to go get your car. Sounds like you have plenty of time to do so. No sense staying the not so Econo lodge. It's true that when troubles come we can always find some that have it so much worse than we do so we count ourselves blessed. Take good care on the road home to NC.
I hope the rig fix isn't too costly for you. Oh you're so right about "Econo" Lodges lol...
I think I might have mentioned it before. You will find this a "humorous" situation down the road. Just not now when you are dealing with it. Glad there are accommodations out there for you and Sherry, albeit expensive, and glad that no one got injured in it all. Everything will eventually come together, just have to patiently wait it out :)
Just been reading about all your excitement. Both of you are always able to come through with a smiling face. I remember your pretty dentist in the past. I'm glad she is cancer free, sorry for the loss of her Father. We are even more involved as my brother and sister-in-law have moved here to Assisted Living and they never want us to leave when we visit Glad to be able to catch up a little on your life.
Man when it breaks it really breaks.
You are headed home now and then will return?
I hope your house up there is okay.
When sis and I were on our roadtrip thru 10 states, it was a different motel each night......and yep, it got old fast. No wonder you two love your coach so much...home. Prayers you find a safe house in NC too. Travel with the Lord in the bucket seat.
love n' hugs from up north where it drizzled enough to keep a body wet all day. Bill and my brothers are cutting lumber at the sawmill....and lovin' it!
seems like nothing is too cheap when you have and emergency. hoping your home is fixed soon.
