Shirl’s Surprise, Sunday and more Snow

Well here we are again. This will be our last night in the motor home for a few days. we are moving into a hotel in the hospital.  We are planning on 5 days at the most, but who knows, we will stay as long as required.

Before I go any further, can you keep a secret. Shirl’s FRIEND, Smokey contacted us about a surprise he planned for Shirl. A surprise party. We had planned to be there but couldn’t make it. They pulled it off and she did not know what was happening. They made her Queen Shirl. I just got these photos. happy birthday Shirl!!!  Love you girl.

Queen Shirl

(I think she was performing blessing here!)

She always loved to dance!!!

Here are some friends of Johnny’s. When I shot this picture the head nurse saw the flash and in a flash she was in there letting me know that was not allowed, privacy matters you know.  I apologized or course, but kept the pic. As you can see I have cropped old Johnny boy out.

Notice these ice cycles.

Yep you bet the motor home is sacred to death, she has never seen weather like this.

More ice cycles, no wonder she is scared.

Thanks for coming by the log. Johnny is doing well, but wants some water so bad. You really want to give it to him. but after the explanation you know better. The water could get into his lungs the way the tubes are routed.

Three more inches of snow last night.

So as much as you hate it, no matter how much he begs, you can only do so much. That is rough on Sherry.

Thanks for coming by the Log.

I married Miss Right. I just didn't know her

first name was 'Always'..

I haven't spoken to my wife in 18 months.

I don't like to interrupt her..

13. The last fight was my fault though.

My wife asked, "What's on the TV?"

I said, "Dust!"..

Shirl makes a lovely queen. I know it must be hard to not give Johnny the water he wants. Pray it won't be long until he can have what he wants. See if you can abide by the rules from now on, okay? lol

Hopefully all those tubes can soon be disconnected and John can have his water That would be wonderful! I'm glad you are going inside where it is much warmer. It's way too cold up here in the winter for RV living. The snow is about the same here. We will all be glad when Spring comes with some warmth and sunshine. Mid April we are supposed to be able to open up our campers for the year, but some major changes in the weather are going to have to happen for that to be possible. It always seems that it does warm up by then, but I can remember snow in April too. Take good care !

Shirl actually favors Queen Elizabeth in the Queen's younger years. Did you notice that?

So sorry to hear of Johnny's condition - which I'm sure cause much pain for Sherry. You prove your love when you follow the docs orders in this case.

Poor ole motor home. I know it will feel much better when it gets further south!

Shirl makes a most lovely Queen. She's gorgeous and so eloquent! A gracious receiver! Happy Birthday Shirl;)
It won't be long and Johnny will be feeling stronger and stronger. He had some serious surgery and it takes time. Give him our prayers, please, and let him know a lot of your friends are pulling for him. Sherry, dear, you are the sweetest sister to stand by your dear brother. Hugs to you.
As for your are sure iced up. The north is no place for you in the wintertime.
We have another inch of snow and at least a few more coming. Stay warm, and glad you guys are settling into a hotel for awhile. The ice on the motorhome steps look treacherous.
Be Safe and Warm,

Happy Belated Birthday greetings to the Queen of
Belmont, Shirl looks like Royalty! Hope Johnny is better today, and after seeing those freezing photos of the motor home, can understand your opting for a hotel room.
p.s Also, another one for your memory book...that romantic room we had in Detroit, the winter of 2011:)

Happy late Birthday to Shirl. She made some great pictures. Glad that you two got a motel room. Burrr that looks like cold weather looking at all that ice. I pray that Johnny can have some water soon and that he gets much better. Helen

Please extend my birthday wishes to 'the queen.'
I know it's hard to follow docs orders but you're doing the right thing. Been there, done that! Prayers continue for all of you. DONT watch the weather .... they say it's going to snow all week.
