Christmas Dinner

Shirl models the GRITS chef's aprons she made and gave the family 1992
Shirl and her Older brother, He was not much for hugging, Shirl always aggravated him, he loved it.

Me & my girl when we still had most of our families, but yeah, memories are wonderful.

Christmas parades. Folks love them!

Well we have walked and talked. We have decided (?) on Christmas dinner. WE will get a big sub Christmas eve, from the deli and put in the refer until Christmas dinner. OR
Pick up a broasted chicken and make Chicken sandwiches and soup
.
OR
Pick up a dead chicken, and I will pressure it and we will have a chicken pickin’.
It is that or:
Sherry make a dish for 8-12 and show up at the club house and eat with folks we do not know.

Glenda invited us to a great dinner at Okee, but we are not up to it right now.
I love Christmas and like to think our family back home is having a wonderful time.
When you are not tied down to schedules, you can just open a can of pork n beans and have a good time.
We think back to the wonderful family times. Some were as good as the stories of old about taking a sleigh to Grandmas house.
Merry Christmas to you all. I hope you get just what you should for Christmas. I trust that none of you gets or deserves the traditional lump of coal!
It is nice to know I do not hate or terribly dislike anyone, that I know personally in America.

Now Osama Bin Ladin is a different story, I really do not like him or his friends. AT his directions many good folks died. He also changed forever the simple way to travel, or ship things. Delays at the Airport, I even found there were delays boarding a ship.
Enjoy yourselves when all is well because things are subject to change.
Try to enjoy yourselves is you are not happy, because things will change.

PS: GREAT TRUTHS ABOUT GROWING OLD.

**It's frustrating when you know all the answers but nobody bothers to ask you the questions.

**Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.

**Wisdom comes with age, but sometimes age comes alone

Jack I can't figure out why they cant find him! they found saddam. would be nice to live in a world without him and his cohorts.
enjoyed the pictures as usual. yep i do think of the television families i grew up seeing on television. well why not? "ain't " that what y'all are? lol
I have spent most of my life in the company of strangers. in my case it was an adventure because there just might be a chance they would be fun and interesting instead of the same old mean and nasty i was used too. lol

Memories are wonderful. I loved to tease Jun he
just took it in stride. I remember when Kat said
the one word she uses at the dinner table and both of us looked up at the same time with mouth open in amazement. We have that picture.
Jun loved to decorate. I would have to hunt things in Charlotte that he would want. He always put the train up and have it running. He had his door bell singing Christmas Carols. Oh I loved the good ole days. Remember Jun and Odis were in the Navy and I was in the first grade. I have wondered how Mother and Dad survived raising two youngsters being older parents.

Merry Christmas to you and Sherry!! I think its neat that you can choose what you want to eat for Christmas dinner and how you will spend your day without rushing around to be here or there; betting you'll enjoy the day together whatever you choose to do

I love to do things different then what seems to be the norm. One time I fried Spam for Christmas lunch. John is already worried because it seems we will be alone. I told him we could drive down to Eagle Pass to the casino but I think he thinks thats not a nice thing to do on Christmas Day. Well the minister just told us today Christ was not born on Dec. 25. I'm so bad.
