Merry Christmas

Here I am holding my Chirstmas Present. 1993
Me With sister Kat in front of me, Shirl with B.F. Jr.(Jun) in front of her. Our older brother Odis had already Passed on. This is the Kids, Shirl and I are left

I wanted a SAnta, this is Luke Vegas in Santa's lap along time ago. He is a teen ager now.

Well Santa is on his way. We sat around the campfire and sang some Carols. I only know one verse of a lot of carols. So we sang those and I tried to follow Sherry on other verses.
She said it was probably like this with the shepherds that were watching the flock that night. I looked up and saw one bright star. It just sort of set the mood.
This is a Great Christmas, I hope our family in North Carolina and Utah are just as happy. I know there is sadness in both places because of lost mates, and scattered families. I hate Divorce. However I am not naïve enough to think there are not many reasons for it to happen. I just hate it happens.
Oh well, All things considered for me and my Love, it is a Merry Christmas. She is always my Christmas present. She Has been, so for over fifty years. I am a lucky fellow, the luckiest in the world and the most Blessed.
I hope Santa brings you all you have wanted, and I hope you are happy and remember the ONE who is the reason for this great season.

PS:
These sentences ( with all the BLOOPERS ) actually appeared in church bulletins or were announced in church services:

Don't let worry kill you off - let the Church help.

--------------------------

Miss Charlene Mason sang "I will not pass this way again," giving obvious pleasure to the congregation.-

-------------------------

For those of you who have children and don't know it, we have a nursery downstairs.

--------------------------

Next Thursday there will be tryouts for the choir. They need all the help they can get.

I understand Santa had a lot of trouble with
the reindeers this year. One left, one divorced
one go pregnant, one drank all Santa's booze so
I think there may be a problem with him making
his rounds. I hope you made a wish when you saw
the star bright. I don't know if I should wait
up for Santa or just hope he finds my house I'm not sure if he is aware that I moved. If he
listened to you I will only get reindeer poop.

I loved seeing the pictures of the family who have passed but makes me very sad. Its just me
and you Brother.

Really great pictures. Do we call them happier days or has their been enough time passed to take the past in stride and give each one a thought and move on. Last night I moved on but I remembered each and everyone I have lost, and cherished the ones I have left. Merry Christmas and a Happu New year.
