It's good to like each other if you are married

Little KNOWN FACTS:

1.    Wearing headphones for just an hour will increase the bacteria in your ear by 700 times.
2.    If you sneeze too hard you can fracture a rib. If you try to suppress a sneeze you can rupture a blood vessel in your head or neck and die. If you keep your eyes open by force they can pop out.
3.    A kiss stimulates 29 muscles and chemicals that cause relaxation. Women seem to like light and frequent kisses while men like them more strenuous.
Return trip
On the trip back to NC we talked a lot.  There have been years that we could not carry on a continuous conversation due to my hearing.  We truly enjoy being able to converse in a car.  There is never a radio on, just us.  I do tell her if she wants the radio it is no problem, but she prefers just to talk or play a game on her phone.  She plays a back and forth game with jack Jr., 'Hanging with Friends'.

We have always enjoyed each other’s company.  We passed a directions road sign on the way back, "To York, SC".  York is the place we chose to be married. I was still 17 and had to have my parents’ permission.  My dad would have performed the ceremony in NC, but NC required blood tests and SC did not.  (I wanted to marry her whether she had enough blood or not!!!  LOL)

Anyway the YORK sign kicked in a whole new conversation. WE are so blessed and lucky.  We really do like each other and I LOVE to be around that girl. She not only has the prettiest legs in the world, but is beautiful to boot! Early in our lives we were separated up to 6 months at a time due to deployments in the military.  Maybe that is why we love to stick together now.

(Below is the entire wedding party. We all crowded into Judge Nunn's living room)

I miss the bench seat in the car. We would have probably smooched for 500 miles.  She looked over at me and said, "I have loved all our honeymoons, especially this one!"  You gotta love this girl!!!  (We used to say every trip we took was our honeymoon!)

I do miss her sitting close and whispering in my ear!  LOL

Oh and we stopped near St. Augustine at Denny's, splurged on calories and fat, we both had the Original Grand Slam.  I love my 2 eggs sunny side up, 2 BACON, 2 LINKS AND 2 PANCAKES.  Sherry prefers over medium eggs.  TO MY SISTER:: "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT ABOUT THE CHOLESTEROL , SHIRL!"  LOL
Nite Shipslog

PS: We only had a one night honeymoon, maybe that is why we had so many later!  LOL

1956, the year we were married:
                                       Ford Crown Vic

                                          Chevy
(the packard preditor, never a street car)

I would say so, it is good to like each other if you are married. Like all the info. you are giving these days. Oh do you think it is possible to love someone but not like them? John's oldest son tells him that all time. He also says he is up to his knees in alligators when he is real busy.

Close to home! I remember the time I realized that while I loved someone, I no longer liked them so much.

Y'all are a Love Story right up there with Hollywood's best!
For some reason, the way Sherry has her hands clasped in this picture right away made me think of Princess Diana. I can't pinpoint it now, but I swear there was a picture of D. in a similar posture. Quite the ladies!

You two are my favorite couple and being the best of friends on top of it all is a blessing. It's been a while since I had a Denny's Grand Slam. It's a great breakfast, lunch or dinner. Now I'm getting hungry. When you are on your honeymoon you deserve a little splurge!

Having a good friendship is one key to a happy marriage. You and Sherry's love stories always make me smile. Yall are just precious. I think Nick likes me a little bit. hahaha. We enjoy trips and walks together. We just talk talk talk and usually on the same page. I dont know what I would ever do without that fella.
I love the wedding photo. Some good looking folks there!
