The bathroom and stuff

Autos of beauty

Margaret Elizabeth Sauer
In 1957, Margaret Elizabeth Sauer designed the Olds Ninety Eight Holiday coupe show car, called the Mona Lisa, and the Starfire convertible show car called the Chantreuse.

For today (Saturday):

I am still plugging along on the basement bathroom. Today was the job I dreaded, plumbing the drain and trap on the shower.  It is tougher to install a bathtub or shower over concrete. The floor space I have is only 7 ½ inches. But it is done.

I did trim the door I installed. This is inside:

Outside:

I insulated behind the  shower, now I have to  build one more wall and install the insulation.
Pic
Oh yes I have been meaning to paint the concrete yard decorations. I finished Ragged Ann and whatshisname earlier.

I bet this frog weighs 80lbs. and Sister Shirl used to wrestle these things around

Hefting this drywall around has gotten harder since I turned 81! But I am enjoying most of this work.

Oh we both thought Stormy D was off having her pups, but when we went for our walk, there she was under the neighbor’s car looking at us. I think I hurt her feelings calling her a fat cat. She came in the basement a while ago and forgave me and asked for some petting.

Also, thanks for taking time to read this stuff.

Stay safe.  Life is precious.

Glad you are keeping busy and getting things done there. You are doing a great job of that bathroom and I'm sure it will come in handy there in the basement.having a shower is and extra bonus so things don't get tracked through the house after you've been outside working. Glad Stormy is still around and hasn't taken off. Who knows, you might get to see the next litter.

The new bathroom/shower looks great, Jack! 'Wish I had more get-up-and-go, but this pandemic business has turned me inside out … the only thing that's spinning is my mind. Speaking of Stormy! Does Zoro ever show up anymore?
