Memorable Automobiles from The Past:
For today:
I am not much on
medical terms. I cannot pronounce the two meds Sherry's Dr. prescribed. But there are times in the news I see
something that interests me and I must look it up.
Today it was “Bruce
Willis backs away from acting after being diagnosed with Aphasia.” I like Bruce so I wondered what in the world
this disease is.
Aphasia is a disorder that results
from damage to portions of the brain that are responsible for language. Leaving
one unable to communicate verbal or writing. This could be a death sentence to
an actor.
So jack Buck up, you have a temporary problem, right? Bruce (and millions of others) would love to
have just an ache or two to put up with.…..
PS: This I have been told:
The banana cannot reproduce itself. It can be propagated only by
the hand of man.
(Come Mr,
Tally man, tally the ba-na-na, come daylight an' me wanna go home!!)

Oh yes, it could always be worse, Every time I feel sorry for myself I read about someone that has it worse and then I feel ashamed of myself. We all have problems of one kind or another, Right now it's my car causing the problem not my body, but still I'm beginning to feel the wear and tear of it all. Keep on going Jack, this too shall pass. Nothing lasts for ever!
So true, Jack. Perspective is everything. Not only was I stunned to read about Bruce Willis' diagnosis -- but taken aback and yet ANOTHER loathsome disease.
I love how BOTH his (former and current) families are pulling together at this time. Family is everything.
You are in my prayers. You are so right...when we hurt it could always be worse. I want to thank God everyday when I can get up and walk. Let us all pray for you. There's power in prayers. Hug your sweet wife. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
I like what Ma said and it is so true. This too will pass for you Jack. It is hard to remember that when we are going through such things though. I don't know enough about aphasia but I hope with all the modern technology Bruce will be able to find a way to communicate with his loved ones.

Bruce Willis is one of our favorites, He has done so many movies that involved some pretty serious action scenes. Head injuries are long lasting. Aphasia is something ignored because it masks itself.
I am right in the line for Aphasia. Head injuries, migraines, vascular anomalies (thanks to my dad's side of the family), part of the stroke family....
Losing my language is one of my greatest fears. My speech is uncertain, pronunciations of words is embarrassing..,
Willis' opened doors for people like me have wondered what and how to do.
I was so sorry to hear about Bruce Willis's condition. It is just sad that things like that happen. I feel sorry for him and for his family.
The other 'old' actor that I was sorry to hear passed away (years ago) was Peter Falk-he played Columbo. They said he was such a nice, good man.
I don't complain about my aches and pains either when I see what others have to endure. Hugs-Diana
So sad. Praying for him and for you and your family, Jack. There's always someone worse off than us. Lord have mercy.
God bless.
We are praying for the Willis family as well as yours and others hurting. Our nephew finally is off critical life support but we still pray hard for him and his family as he slowly heals. Life sure is full of twists and turns. I think it's God's way of reminding us to turn our troubles over to God. He's the Only One that knows every one of our outcomes.
loven'hugs to you and Sherry from up north. The sun is shin🌞ing bright!
