Memorable Automobiles from The Past:
For today:
When I told
the dentist my teeth had experienced care in 3 branches of service, in several
states and Mexico he said as he looked inside, “I see!” He did not explain what he saw.
I
remembered a year or so out of the USN I needed a filling and went to a dentist
in Mt. Holly, NC. As soon as he looked in my mouth he said, “Ah ha, a Navy
mouth I see!”
I am
wondering if there is a sign in there somewhere. LOL
Traveling
as we do, medical and dental problems do tend to change plans. But then I guess they do if you are
stationary, they do interrupt a routine.
I was telling Sherry usually I go in and leave not concerned about
further work. But I never experienced Bridges, so I wait again.
Reading
‘Mevely’ today about appts. I just wondered if all appointments have time built
in for tardy patients. I cannot remember an appointment time that I saw the Dr.
at the time on my appointment. This last case, dental work, I was always on
time, but once seated I sat in the chair 15-40 minutes before seeing anyone.
Anyway
I do feel some better, I am enjoying your blogs and comments. I still don’t
have a table with Diana yet. Sherry hasn’t picked one for us yet, just sayin’!
THANKS

PS: This I have been told:
(Some truths don't make me happy to know!)
The roar that we hear when we place a seashell next to our ear
is not the ocean, but rather the sound of blood surging through the veins in
the ear.
(I have a seashell that my brother Jr. brought home from WWII when he was in the South Pacific. I treasure it. I thought I was listening to the Pacific!))

Thanks for the 'shout', Jack. I'm almost certain you're right about the schedulers allowing for late-comers; even early arrivals. This place is so popular, there's never a shortage of patients.
So glad to hear you're feeling some better, my friend. Waiting is the worst!
Please, let us know if you learn what those dentists mean by Navy mouth.
When I worked in doctor offices the doctors always ran late but God forbid if a patient came in late! We always hoped people wouldn't show up so we could catch up and not be running behind. Later on another practice I was typing for used to charge patients if they were late for their appointments. That office though ran on time! Glad you are feeling a bit better!
betty
Still praying for you my friend.
God bless.
Sp glad you are feeling better and hope you soon have that bridge work done. I always have to wait when going to any appointments, but seldom over 10 minutes. I have never been late, but usually early. Hoping that I'll get out sooner, but that never works. Its in the low 20's here this morning, so count your blessings !
I'm a bit behind in reading posts but I think of you and Sherry often. Especially when I see campers and motor homes going by! I'm glad your teeth are getting good care. Yes, appointments are a pain when we have to wait. I know many practices that will cancel you if your even a minute late yet make you wait for them! Jack tries really hard to make sure he gets his patients in on time. Most of them are hurting too much to even sit in a Chiropractor's office for long! Have a good week you two!
Thanks Jack for spoiling the sea shell sound!
I always thought it was echos from the waves!
