Me, Outside the Rex Allen Museum in Willcox, Arizona

Jim & Shirley with the decorated 'Chrismon' Tree. Presbyterian Chruch in Charlotte,m NC

Present location: Eustis

Next Location (tomorrow)… Wildwood, FL.

Weather.. Windy 70’s.

Health.. Good with the exception of my girls neck. It is hurting and she is using the heating pad.

Projects: just hung Sherry’s cross stitch picture of the Appalachian Trail. The only place to hang it was inside the pantry door. Fits perfect.

Books: Just finished a Jack Higgins book ……‘Run to Morning’ love that writer.
Sherry is reading. Judith McNaught’s “Until You”.. She says it is a good book. (sometimes I read what she does, but most times not. We have a couple writer’s we share.)

UP Coming events… WE are going on a short real Civilian cruise in a week or so. I am practicing for the food I am already gaining weight, dadgummit.

Christmas cards go out in a couple days.

Hope everyone is ready for Christmas, the happiest time of the year!

Nite Shipslog

PS:
Words of Wisdom, good quotes:
In my many years I have come to a conclusion that one useless man is a shame, two is a law firm, and three or more is a congress.
-John Adams

'If you don't read the newspaper you are uninformed, if you do read
the newspaper you are misinformed.'
-Mark Twain

Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But then I repeat myself.
-Mark Twain

I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is
like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the
handle.
-Winston Churchill

oh no that kinda sounded like I meant you. lol
I have a heating pad for just that purpose. sometimes those smelly ointments work good but never combine the too. bonus with the ointment is you get a nice massage from your luvie.|
hey jack why you worry about your weight. a good breeze could blow you right off the boat. eat now and diet after the holidays. y'all have fun!

I am a fairly new reader of your blog.
I found it accidentally. I enjoy your
wittiness and spunk. Love to hear about
your travels and see pictures.
By the way, is Sherry a Kentucky girl?
(Read your joke) Hope she is feeling
better. Faith, family, friends, that's
the best in life.

I hope Sherry feels better soon! Thanks for sharing the picture of Shirl and Jim, the Chrismon tree is as beautiful as Shirl described it. Yeah, go ahead and brag about being in the 70's, haha..it's been cold here, had rain and sleet yesterday, today the sun is shining. Hope you and Sherry like your new home away from home that you're moving to today. Sorry to say but na I'm not in the Christmas spirit.
