Dreams lost, Dreams possible...

At the helm of the Mayflower in Plymouth, Mass., Yeah, dreaming!
Witches museum in Salem, not really dreaming, but we were very wierd, and supersticious, during some of our countries young years.

Ahhhhhhhh, Nunans Lobster Hut at Kennebunk, Me. looking forward to this. Last time we were up there it was $13.50 for one Lobsta, or $15.50 for two, pretty much of a no brainer decision for me.
From the Dreamer..................

Okay so I am, ( and always have been) a dreamer (sometimes a doer). I dreamed of doing things and many times were able to make the dreams become a reality. I have said it many times, we are very fortunate. We have been able to do things. We have NEVER paid a plumber, electrician or carpenter to do anything at our house, I have been able most of the time to figure how to do it.
And up until they got toooo complicated for a shade tree guy, we never paid for auto repair (body or mechanical).
But back to dreaming. Now I wake up and realize I will NEVER do some of the things I dreamed of:
1. Sail around the world in a sail boat. (To old and too complicated now, dangerous too I guess.)
2. Live in Mexico, France or Spain for a year. (Don’t have a year to spare anymore)
3. Swim the English Channel (Too old and not enough money for support, AND when I saw it, it was wider than I thought, LOL)
4. Sky dive (This one is iffy, I might can squeeze this one in.)
5. Drive as far north in Canada, then walk to the Arctic Circle. (WE may get to the Arctic circle via the Yukon, but by driving)
6. Learn to fly a plane (No need anymore, a friend let me handle the controls on his small plane, I would never be able to understand the tower operators or the radio anymore, it sounded like the old ‘Drive thru’ fast food windows.) Besides the friend decided he had better take the controls back since I was headed toward the ground pretty fast.

Dreams Still possible.
1. Finish the Appalachian Trail. ( One more try, later this summer.)
2. Ride in a Hot air Balloon.
3. Visit Ireland on a budget.
4. Take Sherry to the little Mediterranean Greek Island of Corfu.
5. I want to live Jo Staffords song, remember it?

See the pyramids along the Nile
Watch the sunrise on a tropic isle (done that)
Just remember, darling, all the while
You belong to me.

See the marketplace in old Algiers
Send me photographs and souvenirs
But remember when a dream appears
You belong to me.

Ill be so alone without you
Maybe youll be lonesome too---and blue
Fly the ocean in a silver plane (Nother been ther done that)
Watch the jungle when its wet with rain

Just remember till you're home again,
YOU belong to me.

Rain don't encourage him. He gets into enough
trouble with his dreams. I guess I will be
happy continue entertaining. I have traveled
enough to make me happy.

Hey Jack, your comment made sense to me today. Maybe we think to much alike in some ways. Only thing is, you are , like me, getting OLDER every day. Time gets shorter and desire to do, and see more is always there and you are just crazy enough to do some of the crazy things and more power to you and Sherry. Lucy

That camcorder looks like the first one we had...ha (first picture). Who would have thunk they would make them as small as they do now. Don't even get me started on the size of our first cell phone...ha. I hope you get all your chores done at Shirl's before you skip out....I mean head out again...ha. Take care, Sheila
