Nicole, visited

One of a kind for today:

The three wheel camper..

Now, note for today:

12:30 update,  Sustained winds now 43mph  pretty brisk LOL

Nicole came by last night and this morning.  Here in Leesburg we had high winds, less than 70mph.  They shook the motor home some, but not bad enough to scare my sweetheart.  WE have brought in the living room slide out, that was to protect the awning, not the slide out. I locked down all the other awnings.

We had no damage. Out net is fractured.  Winds are sustained at about 25-30mph gusts to 45. We just got a big strong gust just now, it shook us a little.  LOL and it is about noon here.

For us all is well, but the beaches are suffering a lot of erosion ...

To victor: With no side walk we walk some on the grass, but mostly on the road's edge.

Hope all of you are well.

Thank you so much for this update, Jack! Guess nasty Nicole soon figured she wasn't welcome. Like the sign says, Keep cool and carry on!

I'm glad you and Sherry are OK and will have a good weekend. I need to call my brother and hopefully all's well with him in Fort Myers!

Despite the wind, glad that there were no injuries or significant damage! Hopefully Nicole will be the last storm of this season!

Glad you are both well and didn't sustain any major damage to your motor home. Those high winds must be scary. I am not a fan of wind, much less that high. Hope those tornadoes are done for the year.

I'm so thankful that you came through the storm safely. I've seen pictures of the beaches on the news. It is devastating. Glad the winds have calmed down some. Now they are blowing to us up north. I am praying for the safety of all those in Nicoles's path.
