It is Florida! Bad Weather?

 One of a Kind:

See! I knew you always wanted a John Deere Trike!

For today:

Weather is never guaranteed. We have lived places where folks were always quoting the old saying, “If you don’t like the weather here, just wait a day or two, it will change.”

When a person has lived in Florida for many years and they go as far north as South Carolina in the winter and notice the forestry; they think all the trees have died, not thinking ‘dormant.’  I know that because it happening to me once.

I was only thinking about that because all around here many bushes and flowers are ‘covered’ in an attempt to prevent the colder weather killing them.’

The joy here is: ‘at least we do have the sunshine. ;-)’

Hoping you are WARM, got what you wanted for Christmas and that you are ready for the next Biggie….2023!

OH MY GOSH, YOU ARE FUNNY!!! GLENN DAWG AND I ARE HAPPIER WITH THE WARMING TEMPS....NOT really Florida weather, but better than yesterday!!! 15 years ago David Luke
gave me a shoulder wrap that has the option of 4 different degrees of warmth. Worn on top of my flannel robe, I survived 32 degrees! This comment is all about me, me, me, sorry but due to unexpected circumstances I only got about 3 Chrismas cards sent :(
I'll do better next year!!!
Love from Chobee.

p.s As you know, I make labels but haven't figured that one out on this new (refurbished desk-top) and my old Lenovo died. I held the originals with mine and IrmaNee's labels HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023

Hoping and praying you are all well, whatever the weather you are having. Here, whilst there's no snow, it is still very cold. They say it will remain cold, with rain and perhaps some flooding in some areas.

God bless you all always.

Hahahaha on that last meme!
I think it was my first year living in Florida (ca 1988) -- I was amazed when the cold temps came and we had rolling 'brownouts' on Christmas morning. All the orange growers were burning smudge pots.
We're finally warming up a little; it's supposed to be 70* by the weekend. This will be one winter storm they'll be talking about for years. Thank goodness, we've had a strong roof over our heads, central heat and food in the larder. Oh, and sunshine!

I checked the weather for when I arrive in Florida on Wednesday and it's supposed to be in the 80's. I'm so glad to be seeing and feeling the results of that sunshine. I'm going to be near Fort Myers. I don't know haw close or far you are to that but I'm hoping you are warming up where you are too!
