Where are the JOBS?

Lilly on a lilly pad, When we lived in TAvares, FL

I don’t want to hear this bull about it is the Republicans fault. Nor do I want to hear that it is the Democrats fault. This situation did not come about in twenty years. It has been coming about for forty or more years. And BOTH parties have had their shot at it. History proves the Great Depression was not Hoover’s fault, but he took the blame because he was in office. There was plenty of blame to go around. It is politics, pure and simple. But once things start biting the politicians in the rear they start the blame game. As long as they can blame someone, it takes the spot light off them. So it becomes a matter of smoke and mirrors.

For forty years our jobs have gone overseas. It has finally caught up with us. WE all know someone who is out of work. Our son who is just getting by because no one can afford to build. When you are self employed there is no un-employment check.

So here we sit at the beginning of a beautiful year and I am sounding pessimistic. That is not me. So let’s light a fire under someone to pass some laws protecting the American Business man. Stir him to start new businesses. The government does not create meaningful jobs, Chance taking entrepreneurs do.

Now I will admit I am not an economist. But no one has been able to explain how we can put millions of folks to work pushing paper and survive. I keep saying how can we have jobs if we are not even making a button. SOMEONE MUST MANUFACTURE SOMETHING!

I am looking at this economy. How can you have jobs if we have no industry? We need jobs. We could supply some jobs if we only required all military hardware, uniforms and shoes to be made in the USA. That would do something more than we are doing. If we required all furniture used in Public and Government housing to be made in the USA, that would help.

Here I go again. Forget it. Have a Great New Year. Life is still good! I hope the year is wonderful for everyone and we all have good health. Thanks for coming by the log.

PS: You don't hear this anymore:
If you pull that stunt again, I am going to wear you out!

Don't lose that button; I'll sew it back on after awhile.

Wash under your neck before you come to the table, you have granny beads under there..

I am getting too wordy I am sorry, I gotta look at Paula more that girl can say a lot in less than 300 words.

I couldn't agree more Jack, my family has been affected as well...we need MORE jobs in the US...stop sending them to Mexico etc..

People can barely survive in this economy...it is so sad that it has come to this..never thought I would have to see it this way...

Hugs

I agree with you. If they kept the jobs here where they belonged our country wouldn't be in this tight spot. Helen

Often we forget the little guy, the SMB, in our discussions of the comings and goings of the Internet marketing industry. Sure there are times like this when a report surfaces talking about their issues and concerns but, for the most part, we like to talk about big brands and how they do the Internet marketing thing well or not so well.
