While in Pueblo, Colorado we saw some of the production stuff of the windmills built there, in a parade. I do not know how many producers there are, but I know they are shipped by rail, then by truck to the erection site. From a distance, they just do not look that big, but in reality they are huge!!

Nearly past here, that is a WOW being right beside it.
This is a 1/3 or 1/4 of the base of one on the West Bound lanes.
Other things catch my interest including WHERE trucks are from. I enjoying seeing a name, and saying to Sherry that dude is from Winston-Salem, NC or anywhere else. It is just interesting.
This is a load of pipe stock but they have lug lips for bolts, so they could be light poles for parking lots.
I am very familiar with this guys load, those are bands of concrete reinforcement bars or Re-bar as construction workers call it..
A load of spare wheels for locomotives, I don’t think trains have flats, but they may wear out. LOL

Those things are huge. Surprised to see those big trucks heavily loaded passing you up on the road. It's another chilly day in Ohio too, but not as cool as yesterday. Tomorrow we'll start warming back up again.
Incredible photos, could not have imagined they were anything nearly that size til seeing the pic passing by, WOW. Looks like a lot going on in Colorado, rail/truck commerce. Very interesting!

Even tho' I'm looking through this monitor, I got the "willies" at that shot of the pipe stock (whatchamacallit). Ya, me of little faith .... I'm always worried a fastener will snap or come loose and I'll get creamed.

No doubt about the wind turbines being huge. We watched them construct them around here and it was mind boggling how BIG the individual pieces were, much less the whole thing, assembled.

Okay those were HUGE - and very interesting - but I would tell you if it passed me - I would be scared!!! Some times I feel they are going to blow you right off the expressway - well I guess not an RV. Very interesting. sandie
We see some strange big things here on the roads now with the oil boom. Lots being led by trucks for wide loads. Our roads aren't made for them. We have one of those wind thingies over by Poteet but otherwise don't see them around here. The one time I saw a big truck hauling one of those blades I thought it was an airplane wing.
