The new great grands

 Historical Photo:

When you do a blog you have no idea who is reading or why. It makes it sort of like a public journal or diary for some. My girl reads most of the blogs and comments associated with this blog. She has been known to comment once, I think.
We were fortunate to get some visits in. Saw friend Ed Huggins at Hardees. Sherry got to the hospital to see Friends Dianne and Carroll.  We did get to see Maverick and Rose Mary.  This was our first time to see Great granddaughter Rosie in person.
                      (about four months!)

Maverick and mama Kiersten @ six months now

Busy here also. Built a new cover for the Effluent pump and cleaned up around the work area. Tomatoes are looking great, I think they might like NC weather.
Nite Shipslog
North Carolina facts (since we are here)
Known as  the Tar Heel State.
Famous people born here:     Sherry  & me.
NC is known for having a great coast line, flatlands and the Great Smoky Mountains.
This is the land of the long leaf pine,
The summer land where the sun doth shine.
Where the weak grow strong and the strong grow great
Here’s to down home, the Old North State.

Your grandchildren are beautiful but you knew that, didn't you?

I can hardly believe that those two great grands are now 4 and 6 months old. It seems like just yesterday you mentioned that were born. It's always great to see the little ones.

Oh my oh my, I can hardly stand the cuteness....your going to love giggling with them. Your historic picture~how in the world does one imagine such beautiful patterns and without directions except for what's in her dreams. I love those pics you post. And the famous people of NC: I know those two most wonderful folks. I wonder if I'll ever see the Smoky Mts. It sure sounds like another beautiful part of our great nation.
love n' hugs from up northwest of you about 6 states kitty korner.

What a pair of cuties! I love Rosie's name ... she looks like such a happy soul. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Maverick sure seems to favor his daddy.

An awesome baby - she is so cute - and the baby is beautiful. You are lucky.I had to learn all the states and what they were known for - why is it called the Tar Heel State? Love the two famous people!
