Cars of beauty and art:
You had to be there when this 1950 Ford Crestliner came out. To most people that paint job is not special, but then it was. 'Two tone' paint jobs were not new, but the cars with two colors (called Two tone) had always been a straight line just below the glass. THIS was the beginning of 'NEW' style painting of cars.

Routines, they are good and bad.
Many of my late snacks come from the refrigerator. LOL Snacks of green tea (cold), apples, bread and butter pickles and  especially cheese. However presently our refrigerator is still full of cat litter.  (LOL)

So I start to walk over and get something, then stop and laugh. For you who do not know, we pull the coach in beside the guest house that we bought here in Florida. It is set up so the coach will have ‘full hookups’ and we can live as we normally do.

We are using the house refrigerator but living here in the coach. Therefore we walk out to the house to get butter, tea or milk when we eat because we prefer the RV to a house.  I guess if we were smart we would move out there until the refrigerator problem is solved, but we won’t.

The above statement is foreign to many people who read, but we honestly prefer the small compact space of the motor home.  We do have most of the conveniences of a home, however we only have a shower and one toilet. At times, like all beautiful women, she wants to soak in a tub. So if she decides that and we are at one of our ‘guests houses,’ she can do that.

We have a young couple next door here, they work all the time. I cut their grass when I cut ours. I like doing something for the young love birds. They are striving to get ahead and they will. Neither yard is big but I still get a few extra steps in. Right now I am showing 21,556 steps for today. That includes our two mile evening walk.  That is roughly 10 miles for an old man. Over the years I have measured about 2,000 steps per mile.

Refrigerator report. The smell seems to have abated some. We may just keep the cat litter inside, when we bring it back into use.  Hahaha.

You can also add baking soda to a sheet pan and sit it in the fridge. Thats suppose to work great for odors. I also heard washing it down with vinigar helps too.
Sherry needs a jacuzzi.

Heading to work

One thing is for certain, you have no lack of places to live. I guess you make the best of both worlds living in your home on wheels and taking advantage of the others. Good news on the smell and hope soon you'll get the refrigerator back. One thing for sure is that you always have other options. These days I'm probably lucky I get in 5,000 steps a day and that is when I'm mowing the grass. Other days are less.

That's good the smell is abating some. With time, let's hope it is completely gone. What a sweet thing to do with cutting your neighbor's grass. Win-win situation. You get to do a kind thing for them and then they in turn I'm sure keep an eye on the place when you guys aren't there. I think living in a small space would be ideal. You would notice clutter sooner and dispose of it otherwise you might not be able to get around it :)

Happy to hear your fridge issue is being resolved ~ albeit not quickly enough! Hope you're enjoying the FL sunshine!!!

It sounds as if y'all have reached a great temporary compromise! 'Not sure what to make of it, but I find much comfort in having a routine. Too, I prefer small living spaces, much like the tiny government apartment in which I grew up.

I loved those 1950 Fords. I think Robert Mitchum drove one in the movie Thunder Road.
They were beautiful automobiles.
