Car of the day:
For today:
I am glad that most companies offer warrantees on their
products. I will definitely use a warranty if something fails due to a manufacturing
defect, not my ignorance. I refuse to buy extended warranties, one reason I
would probably forget that I have it. I can understand it if a person keeps
good records and follow the time lines.
Extended warranties are like insurance. Someone is betting you won’t
need it and you are betting you will. Normally the odds are in their favor or
insurance companies would not be among the largest Corporations in the world.
I still hug many of my friends who are comfortable with it. How
has your greetings been effected with this stinking Virus hanging around?
Trying to be safe and careful, but none of this stuff can replace the feelings of a hug and handshake JMHO !!!
I will never force a contact, some folks are deathly afraid, and many should be.

Warranties! Like I wrote yesterday, our 3-1/2 y/o clothes dryer up and quit this weekend. I didn't think we'd purchased an extended warranty, but reviewing our Lowe's receipt it's there, big as Dallas! Sad to say, I believe companies these days are putting little-to-no effort into building anything resembling quality.
We've an older, handicapped (stroke?) lady at church who stands out front with bulletins and hugs everyone. I don't like it at all; if I can't avoid her, I usually turn my head. Hate to hurt her feelings, but still ....
This is like the tenth comment I've written that disappeared into the ether? What is going on??? I STILL BELIEVE THAT FOR EVERY DROP OF RAIN THAT FALLS, A FLOWER GROWS...THAT SOMEWHERE IN THE DARKEST NIGHT A CANDLE GLOWS, THAT YADAYADAYA SOMEONE WILL SHOW ME THE WAY...I BELIEVE, I BELIEVE and I know that you do as well. Huge thank yous to you, Sherry and your younguns for the blessed memories and your indomitable spirit for daily commentaries that so kindly help us stay connected, much love to you and yours from Okeechobee, FL. Warm hugs, Glenda
As always, you're onit doggonit, Jack, SR. I've so many entended warranties that died on the vine, mainly because I forgot that I'd purchased them. In days gone by, every thing waslabeled and filed and I knew where it was, not so much lately. When I have to go peepee every 30 seconds and come back to the laptop, I've forgotten what I was doing..... Cognizant of the fact that I need to train my brain...still I'm encumbered. However, I'm a Conrad [German] diehard country gurl who's gonna survive this political disarray and live to celebrate a new world of "honesty is the best policy" and "hope springs eternal" and "LIFE is GOOD" etc. I still believe that "For Every Drop of Rain that Falls a Flower Grows"
i am a robot.....really
The times ... they are a' changing. Things aren't what they used to be any more. Is there any insurance against that?
God bless always, my friends,
I never believed in the extended warranties...in the first place, nearly everything electronic already comes with a warranty of limits....with the poorly made items these days, that's good enough for me. Besides, the minute a warranty expires, something happens and we have to renew....such is life.
Like Glenda, I also have faith that for Every Drop of Rain that Falls, a Flower Grows...thanks Glenda for the uplifting reminder that we have God.
loven'hugs from up north where today marked the beginning of barn leveling began at the farm....it's gonna be new again after over 100 yrs.
