Memorable Automobiles for the future:
Is this one wild or what?
For today:
Marquette, MI
This church caught my eye, and the neatness of this house
WHAT IS THIS? There used to be RR tracks to the top of these unique structures. Train cars loaded with Iron ore were on top and those grey angled devices are chutes for loading ships and barges very fast. This is on Lake Superior.
Now from Texas. Love the looks of these cactus. But do not try to hug them.
This was taken between Utah headed toward Las Vegas.
Two of the many Missions in and around San Antonio that we visited.
A historical farm in the Smoky Mountains.
This is Ft. Jefferson. about 70 miles out in the gulf from Key West, Dr. Mudd was sent here to Prison.
Above is an interesting tree inside the Alamo, below the entrance to the Alamo.
Below is the picture that jarred this entry to my mind. This Barn popped up on my screen saver and I have been searching for it.
I love this barn, it is in Idaho, near the Snake River. I need to snip the barn. This was shot while moving of course as most of our pictures are. Anyway, to me this is beautiful.

Thank you for this lovely selection of photos, Jack. I enjoyed today's visit here. Lovely places I have never been to in person. You're a good tourist guide.
God bless you and Sherry.
Y'all are so fortunate to have witnessed most of our great country! Never heard of Ft. Jefferson, and wow on that iron ore loader thingie. Can you imagine the first person to conceptualize the process?
Sometimes -- like that barn that popped up -- it's the ordinary that feels extraordinary.
Loved these photos. Great shots!
Sneaking on here from work.
