Nah, no such thing. Just about the time I get ready to say, well we have found it. something comes along to say, April’s Fool!
No, I am in no way complaining, I do like our life style and cannot think of a thing against the life style. We have every thing we need and most of what we want.
It is the mental things, someone does something stupid in your family, then does something else stupid to compound the problem, and they cannot seem to see it.
I had two nephews both great kids. Both destined for greatness in their own right. One with a good business mind, one an artist and the best at his trade.
The business minded man started a business, it was successful then logistics ruined the business. He had a beautiful wife, great lady, and two good kids. He started another business, very successful the second time, but stress and a bad heart ended his life at 36. I loved that guy!
The other found drugs. Spent most of his life in prison, he died at 43. Leaving a wife and two sons. The stress of drugs on a family can never be gauged. The pressure on the parents, brothers and sisters is horrendous, if you do not know how to handle it. That is the key, the million dollar question, how do you handle it without going bonkers?
All the advice in the world cannot help, if you cannot put it in a box, stack it in the corner of your mind and forget it. Now, that would be a mental solution but is that possible? I said mental solution, not a real physical solution to the problem, because try as one might they cannot fix someone else, no matter how much you love them.
Yep, even the ‘perfect’ life has it’s pit falls, which love nor money can fix. Our government has tried to fix problems by throwing money at it, That just doesn’t work. The same with mental problems, no amount of money will fix the problem, as a matter of fact, it makes it worse.
(written earlier) Sherry and I are headed home for a few weeks. Or to the last home we bought, then rented out. We have our ‘stuff’ in a 53’ storage trailer now. We hope to build our own storage building and empty the trailer. While there look at our own small family problem to see if it is possible to find a reasonable solution. I am not sure this will publish.
(I wrote this a few weeks ago, debated whether to publish it, then today, I decided, the heck with it, here it is).

PS Another church bulletin blooper!!! (evidently all proof readers are not perfect either!!!)
Scouts are saving aluminum cans, bottles and other items to be recycled. Proceeds will be used to cripple children.

Love this Buick Coupe. My Dad had a car with a rumble seat when I was very young. My brother and cousin told me they were going to disconnect the rumble seat from the car and I would be in the road alone. I argued that they would be there too but they said no our legs are long and we can run to catch up with the car. lol Y'all have a safe trip.
I thought something was wrong and
you had forgotten you had already
built your building until I read
on. Thought you were have a
senior moment. hee hee. We need to understand that life is good.

This is interesting to read, Jack, especially in retrospect with what has been going on in your neck of the woods over the past week with Sherry's broken arm. Life sure isn't perfect and no one has a perfect life, even those we think on the outside have it all. San Diego is trying to understand how a talented, all around good person like Junior Seau took his own life when he had it all, great football career, successful restaurant owner, loving family (divorced, but four kids). I think we need to stay rooted in Jesus and realize this life will never leave us satisfied, no amount of wealth or possessions or good looks etc will ever be enough to fill that hole that is meant for Jesus in our lives. I am sorry about your nephews; both sad tragic situations leaving devastated families behind.......

Sorry about your nephews, so young. Life has a way of shaking things up at times. Hope Miss Sherry is doing well today. By the way, is she right or left handed? Cori is right handed and broke her right wrist the first time... Love from up the road, Sheila
Life isn't perfect and some have more to deal with than others, but one way or the other we all do have our problems. We never know just how life will turn out for some, but we have a choice how we're going to deal with it. It's not easy at all. But the good Lord seems to send us strength to deal with it all. He sends us the strength, but we are the ones making the choices. My heart breaks when I hear of some young person like that dying so needlessly. Life can be wonderful. I thank God for each new day and take it one step at a time. That's all any of us can do.
You are so right about the need to put the problems you can't fix into a corner of your mind where they won't drive you to drugs.
I hope the family problem that you are worried about comes to a peaceful resolution.
I also thought maybe we were having a little bit of ground hog day, lolol praying for yall, hugs, Sherry
Thanks for posting this. It helped me realize that even those who seem to have a perfect life, still do have problems. I have been struggling with family drama for 6 years now. I hope your problem improves. I will pray that it does.
As we go through life... problems seem to rear their ugly heads and find us. 'Tis the nature of man. I am sorry to hear about the tragedy of these two young men. Let me say, from my experience... MENTAL ILLNESS is not a GAME CHANGER for evrybody. People stigmatize those with it and that contributes to the problems, for sure. It should be treated just like any other illness. I hope Sherry's arm is feeling a little more managable. It takes a while to get used to the cast. But before she knows it, it'll heal and that thing will be gone. Take care. Crazy month here. so I'll be late with my commenting.
Wonderful, wonderful pictures !
May you please have a good Thursday.
I hope you and Sherry can rest and recouperate while at home and find some good easy resolution to your own small family situation and then be own your way again soon to enjoy touring some new territory that you have not yet seen. :)
Like someone said, nothing is perfect in this life, except Him!
I came here to read your blog and to say, thank you so much for your thoughtful and kind words on my blog entry today, (My Dad's Birthday memories) means a lot.
