Updates and plans of mice & men

Entry for Saturday:

Mary Ann.. reports are better but still not good. Another operation tomorrow to downsize the Trach. Then to another hospital. She is alert but cannot talk.

No dice on moving kittens, I have heard the statement, “Trying to herd cats is impossible, like stacking marbles.” There are too many hiding places and mama cat can sure communicate the ‘go hide’ order. I think she gave the order then turned and left without a word or meow. I had taken a big box over, laid it over on its side with food in it. to let them get used to. They ate in it (One at a time), and LEFT!  Lol.

I finished waxing the motor home, looks good.

Roofers are working.

We have only an acre here, but today my girl was trying to fine me and I was trying to find her. I found the car door open, the door to the house open and no girl around. Then she showed up asking, “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I have looked everywhere.”

“I was looking for you!”

“Where are the car keys? The alarm has been going on and off for 10 minutes.”

UH OH! They were in my pocket, they never are! I evidently was hitting the emergency button on the key. (Kinda like pocket dialing a cell phone!)

I apologized because I know that was aggravating.

At least now we can laugh at the situation.

Y’all take care and be safe….

(We NEVER lost each other in the motor home! (SMILE))

That is so cute how you were looking for each other - and then could laugh. Wonderful!

Now I'm laughing along with y'all! I keep threatening not to shop at Wal-Mart with Tom anymore. He'll tell me he's going to look for something, and before I know it he'll have wandered somewhere else. (Of course he doesn't hear his cell phone or left it in the truck.) The other day I stood up at the front of the store 15 minutes waiting for him to appear. Grrrr.
Still lifting Mary Ann in my prayers. Please don't give up on those precious kitties!

That cat and those kittens surly do make life exciting around there. Too bad you can't communicate your need to help them. They seem to have a mind of their own and are used to hading out. Glad you two got a good laugh out of finding each other. We all need to laugh more anyway. Praying for your friend and am asking your prayers for my BIL, He fell yesterday, passed out and put in the hospital, he's been unresponsive since. And no one in the family is allowed to be in with him due to the virus. Thank you in advance.

We've been known to search for each other in our 1800 sq ft home.

Cats are superior animals and they don't give a damn about what you think.

My prayers for MaryAnn and MA's BIL that all prayers will be answered soon.
As for the two of you...lol, but I understand the situation. I've been in it a couple times. My lack of good hearing makes it less difficult for me but frustrating for my dear man. lol So you're trying to corral kittens. Good luck with that.
loven'hugs from up north where it froze last night, good thing we covered the tomatoes. It's been chilly but in a couple days it'll be back in the 80's.

Try sitting with the kittens for a while with some food in your hand. Once they trust you to touch them., then put them in the box. Haha.

Prayers for Maryann
