I took this picture before we boarded. I tried to get some of the traditional buildings on the side of the mountain, also to show I am not tooooo ignorant of flowers, these are roses!
I caught the love birds at the tram crossing.
Going up we were fortunate to get next to a window, that is Albuquerque.
At the top it was 46 degrees. I found this sweet lady to spend some time with.
You can see some of the terrain as I got a picture of an arriving tram.
Just to show the altitude.
Note the mountain the lines come over behind us. You are seeing the cables as they sag between mountains.
I got this tram departing.
Looking over some of the terrain to an Air Force Base, Kirtland.
We had a great day. With wonderful friends. We returned home. Buddy and Di had us over for Steaks, a delicious meal. This has been a good time, but it is coming to an end. Today Sherry called Vondale and put him on the line with Buddy. They seemed to have a ball. Buddy as usual carrying the conversation with truth, lies and jokes!!!!!
Thanks for going with us to Sandria.

I'll be glad when we can wear a jacket. It has been sooo hot here the last two days and to top it off john keeps the air turned off a lot because it botheres his eyes.
What beautiful views. Glad you are having a
good time. I am surprised Vondale didn't
rent a plane and fly over to see the gang.
The boy needs to speed some of that rusty money.
We are suppose to have rain and get cooler.
I am looking forward to cool weather it has been in the 90's for 88 days records have been broken.
so glad you guys did the tram!! it is fun, isn't it? we did it one time when there was snow on the ground and cool temps and hot chocolate at the lodge :)
gorgeous views! glad you enjoyed your visit in Albuquerque with your friends!
betty
Thanks for the beautiful pictures as always. Believe me when I say that is the only way I'd have seen a tram ride. Heights and me are not good friends at all. It is about 46 here this morning and it just turned daylight. A very crisp morning in Ohio.
I'm sure there were some breathtaking views...but I'm not sure I could have gotten on one either. I'm glad you have had a wonderful time with friends and a steak to top it off. Can't wait to see where you are headed next...Take care and stay safe, Sheila
Great photos! I'm such a "candy ass" that I don't know if I could have been convinced to go on the the tram! Scary! But beautiful views!
You guys amaze me!
As I have said before, I love traveling through your eyes and your photos and your BLOG!
Hugs to my favorite Sailor and his beautiful wife! Rose
Oh I bet that was beautiful! I never would have guessed that Albuquerque had a tram system.
Seriously, I'm so jealous of all the wonderful things the two of you are up to; but soooooooo glad that you share it with us!
You actually made me laugh out loud when you made the reference to not being too ignorant of flowers that you knew a rose.
