Sometimes things go wrong

Things are not always great. Today we left our spot behind Mark's house to make breakfast at Bojangles with Sherry's Brother Vernon, and our dear friends Don & Evelyn. Mark went off to work and Luke went to school.

While we were all gone someone paid a visit and took Mark's Huge TV and my guns. Mark had them in his house. Don't you just hate a thief. But it is done now, the world will continue to turn.

Also we went to dinner with our grand children to night. While there we got a call that Ruth was very low. We had our schedule to go tomorrow, but we finished supper said good night to the kids and went up tonight.

Ruth is low, we stayed awhile, then came home and will return in the morning.

PS: Women will never be equal to men until they can walk down the street with a bald head and a beer gut, and still think they are sexy.

So sorry about Ruth but I know you knew it was coming as we did about John's brother-in-law Sunday a week ago. I know when someone comes in and takes the things you have worked for you feel so violated. It happened to us after the last snow in San Antonio in 1985. We were only gone about an hour.

that is terrible Jack about the break in. Like Paula said, you feel so violated. Sorry about Ruth, but I am glad you are back there to be close with whatever happens in the days ahead.

Here on earth "Thieves break through and steal". Can a man store his guns in the other world where they cannot? ☻ Until then I have a digital locking gun safe...insured by Glock!

Sorry to hear the news about Ruth. Praying for you and her loved ones.

We are having a rash of breakins here in Lincoln. Also some one is using something to break out car windows and run over mailboxes. Sorry to hear about the thefts. I will be thinking of you and Ruth's loved ones.

Most of the break-ins are to sale what ever they steel so they can get their drugs. I do worry when they steel guns. It make me mad to take
thngs that have been bought with hard earned
money.

Glad you got to see Ruth. She has been one
more sweet lady.

I have only been involved in one theft in my life. At that was outside. Someone stole the battery out of my mother's car. She heard something and went outside to see what was happening. I was so upset at the time that she had gone out checking it herself that the theft and violation of our home did not hit me until the next day. I am just glad that she did not get hurt.

It's a shame you can't catch a thief in the act and see the look in his eyes when you "off" him!

P.S. your p.s. is right on!

Oh the gall of some people! Dirty rotten thieves!! I always felt that even if they don't get caught here on Earth ... they WILL some day meet their JUDGEMENT and be held accountable for their actions.

I'm glad you were able to see Ruth though ~ and I pray that she is comfortable and not in pain.

Oh ... I just don't have the words; but know that you're in my prayers.

I'm so sorry about the breach of your sense of trust and safety. I'm also so sorry about Ruth.

Just a note: There's a woman at the festival that is selling the nicest adult bibs, great for bedridden and wheelchair bound people, or just for people who drool a lot. (They are also handy for eating spaghetti and barbecue shrimp.) I plan to purchase a couple of them. Let me know if you want me to send you one for Ruth.
