Our Day with Stella

Our mission, was to let Stella watch us yesterday!

100_1424

After staying inside for an hour it was time to put on shoes and go outside.

100_1419

We first cleaned and washed a rock. Then Stella applied a couple coats of gold paint to place at Sir Logan’s garden.

100_1427

She was interested in the section of culvert pipe, but didn’t want to get too close until SHE HEARD THE ECHO of her name when I called. Then we spent some time ‘echoing’ each other.

100_1429

Then it was down the hill to finish painting the GAS sign. BUT going down the little hill YOU MUST jump the small ditch (526 times, I think) Below is Grandma and Stella jumping it.

   100_1430

In outlining the G-A-S letters there were a couple extra lines accidently on purpose, that became small snakes

100_1431

Leaving the back ‘40’ you cannot use the wooden steps, but climb the dirt steps (653 times).

  100_1435

Then it is time to swing. Grandpa can’t push because he allowed Stella a boo-boo once. So Grandma must push.

100_1438

Then there is time in the sand box.

100_1439

And the bridge over the little ditch you must cross (several times).

100_1442

Then inside for snack and a nap

100_1416

And you would be surprised how many things you can do with a feather you find in Great Grand’s motor home. You can tickle noses and laugh for a long time.

100_1426

Another photo-op at Sir Logan’s flower garden.

100_1445

And then end the day sitting in the ‘big people’s swing waiting for mama to come home from work.

100_1449

The day ended at Chuck E Cheeses. We had a full fun day.

Nite Shipslog

PS:

Stella can also entertain herself with the little guys from Frozen!  Ever hear of that movie, Frozen? (LOL)

You both are wonderful Grandparents. Stella is blessed to have you in her life...as you are blessed to have her in yours.
I loved each adventure.

Stella is one sweet little girl. Looks like the three of you had quite a day together exploring and playing. You can never go wrong by taking a little one to Chuck E Cheese.

Stella is a sweet little girl. She
has such grown up conversations.

I think a day spent like that is really something special for both grandparents and grandchildren, in your case great grands. Children do tend to look at things differently than we do and make everything an adventure and fun. Glad you had a great day !
