Ok we are home, is this our 2nd or 3rd home?

 Memorable car of the day:

1955 Dodge Custom Lancer (3 tone)

                    For today:

We have our home in NC and of course the Motor Home. Now we have bought a trailer in Leesburg, FL. Mainly for a place to park the motor home. Yeah I know it ain’t smart and doesn’t make any sense.

But not much of MY life has made sense, so I guess it is the same old, same old.

When we buy and use a place down here we usually get our money back out of it.  We never invest a lot. If you look long enough here you can find something reasonable. You cannot do that back up in Belmont, NC.

Anyway we are home.  Most likely we will live in the coach and use the trailer as a bath house and or wash house. There is better washer/dryer in the trailer.

Son Mark has sold his house in Port Richey and will say with us until he decides what he is going to do.

I just wanted all to know that we made the trip fine. I did not hit anyone, no cars nor trucks. I think folks dodge me when they see this old man driving. LOLO

Merry Christmastime.

It doesn't have to make sense or be smart if it works for you and you have the means to do so. You guys have been careful with your money in the past and currently, so if something is going to work for you (in this case the trailer) then it is reasonable to get it and enjoy the amenities/benefits it affords you. Glad you made the trip just fine!

Great jokes. Especially the last one. You have a wonderful sense of humour, Jack.

May God bless you for the cheerfulness you spread around. Best wishes to you and Sherry.

TOO FUNNY about the 'final destination'!
I'm no expert on these sorts of things, but seems to me y'all made the right decision -- buying the place in Leesburg v. wrestling with having to find availability a reasonably-priced lot. I wonder if that's not like a timeshare ... no way to recoup your $$$, whereas the trailer will probably appreciate in value.

PS - I was wondering about Mark just the other day! Looking forward to hearing where he's headed next, but glad you'll be together for Christmas.

This post reads like your always humerous self!!! I think back to when I was 12, Juanelle 11 and your family visiting our farm, all your little tricks to entertain us, poor kiddos who had very little worldly "things". But, we had love and plenty of food from the farm! Hog killings, sausage ground [my job to run the grinder and mix spices into the perfect sausage] Run up to the chicken house for a couple of hens to make chicken and dumplings, yep we had no television, so y'all visits made up for that lack! Great memories of little Jackie, Jr; he was so precious to us and the church congregation. I so agree with all the comments above, you outdid yourself with this presentation of quotes and humor. Merry Christmas and best wishes for good health and happiness in 2022. Love, Glenda
