And then there was Jude Atticus

We have been home a few days, and on Wednesday we finally got to meet Master Jude Atticus Darnell. What a doll, yeah I now, all great grand’s are the top banana. Number one, etc.  but He really is ( as every Great Grand dad says!)

And he says, “You are a scary looking dude, and you are my Great Grandpa?”

I did not hold the Jude, I might break him, and cannot have that. And yeah, it really ain’t fair, but all off-spring seem to like the mama’s, and grand/great grandma’s.

But I can read between the lines, when he looks at me he is thinking, You will get me some cowboy guns and a toy horse, won’t you? WE will be buddies later!

I can read those eyes.

We also are enjoying Stella,  Here she is in her Frozen outfit.

And Uncle Luke teaching her how to cast and fish.

Yes, and of course Stella was vying for attention, and got it, the night we met Jude, they are both precious.

The oldest Great Grand is out in Utah.  We hope she will make it to the Family cruise, then all the Greats will be there.

thanks for visiting while I brag a little, and I am aware you think yours are the cutest, but really aren’t they all.

I had to throw a damper on the meeting saying, in about sixteen years this beautiful wonderful kid, might be a pain in the rear, but then,……… One never knows, does one?

(I hate to think of it, but I will probably be sailing beyond the realm at that time.)
