Today

Today is here and I do not have a blog entry completed. I have been doing them in the evenings, but last night I made a fire. Stella came home from T-ball practice with her mom and new coach, ‘uncle Luke’.  When Stella was the fire the word S’mores came out.

Reece helped here daughter make S-mores. Everyone  had to go to Sir Logan’s grave where Mark had placed one of the solar powered angel lights that changes colors. It is very pretty at night and I just enjoyed Stella as she knelt by the light, transfixed as the little angle changed colors.

Sherry went back by the fire after everyone had went to bed and enjoyed some ‘camping atmosphere’. It was so relaxing it was after 9PM when we came in.

I have wanted to shorten the blog, maybe this is the ticket.

Thanks for coming this way.

PS:

We really do enjoy campfires

I do miss having a campfire. They are very relaxing and sitting around one with family and friends is a little piece of heaven. A couple of my grandchildren are playing t ball for the first time this year. Seems it sure has changed a lot since my boys played it so many years ago. More sophisticated now. It's a chilly start here with 37 this morning but supposed to get close to 60 !

Seems like a lovely way to spend the evening enjoy family and s'mores! Glad you did that instead of writing a blog post :) Blogs are always here, time with family might not be.

Gathering round a campfire is a wonderful place to be. Bet the s-mores were yummy. I can see why the solar powered angel light that changes colors was mesmerizing to dear sweet Stella. Sir Logan has a nice resting place for sure.

Campfire sounds good and it was
cold last evening. Stella is a
sweet and intelligent little girl.
I still think about us having that
conversation just like grown-ups.
I will have to see her playing T-ball.

You plan your entries out so well. I just write as I think and that is why they are not thought out, just there.

A campfire sounds wonderful, something we have not done in awhile! The best part of a campfire to me is early morning with coffee perking!

Sometimes you just need to take a break and have some fun!

We have a fire pit in outperform back yard. It makes it easy to have a campfire atmosphere when you can't have a real campfire.
I often do shorter entries too....unless I have more to say.
You do good work Jack.

What a lovely visual!
Don't-cha know, Sir Logan would be so
comforted by Stella's vigil at his resting place.
Where'd this lump in my throat come from?!
