A great day was had

Cars of beauty:
This was new when Sherry was born, a 1937 Ford House Car.

For Monday:
Yesterday we pushed the envelope. We had a total of 11 family members here to enjoy Red Lobster. There were 5 mothers here. The mothers furnished in 2 cakes, a banana pudding, 5lbs of grapes and a pie.

Our daughter in Law Corrinne, brought Sherry the most beautiful lily plant, it is lovely. I thought it was an orchid plant (I do not know flowers past a rose or tulip!)

As I type this I am fighting a blurred ‘squiggly or jagged half-moon line in my sight and it is hard to follow the screen.
This happens on occasion. I was so late yesterday I wanted to get this on in time.

Gotta get out and start a fire in the fire pit, friends coming over for coffee on the outside.
Be Safe,

Nite Shipslog

WOW it does sound like you had a wonderful day.
I love that House car. I would love to have one of those. Something I have never seen before.
I had a squiggly eye one time and my vision was blocked for a little while by a half moon moving across my eye. It actually floated across my eyeball. Lasted about 20 minutes before disappearing. I was told it was called a “Retinal migraine“. They are weird but harmless.

Have a great week

That sounds like a wonderful Mother's Day celebration ! I'm glad Sherry got her favorite Red Lobster. The kids brought over some flowers for me too, but had to bring them in the house so they wouldn't freeze. They are suppose to go outside on the carport. Hopefully we'll soon warm up. Enjoy your coffee around the fire there. Sounds wonderful to me. Great way to start off a new week!

What a wonderful celebration! I could sure go for some of that banana pudding right about now. (I tasted that for the first time last year!)
Coffee around a real fire sounds so nice. Borrowing a line from a friend's FB this morning: "The days are long, but the years are short. Cherish every day!"

What a great celebration. Food and desserts sound so delicious! I snuck over and saw the grand kids yesterday for 2 hours. I will do it again next weekend too lol. I get wiggly lines in my vision before a bad headache. If I take some ibuprofen right then usually I can avoid a bad one.

Sounds like a lovely day..minus the eye issue! I'm glad you had family visit. I think it's time to live life come what may. I'm so over this virus. I hope Sherry had a good Mother's Day! Take care!

Belated Happy Mother's Day Sherry, It sounds like a wonderful day was had by all. Jack, I've had weird floating things in my eyes, it's nerve-wracking, hope they disappear soon, mine went away. Love and hugs from Chobee! By the way, my first ever Mother's day card arrived addressed to Glenn's Mom at 404, a pic of an adorable puppy that was signed "From Glenn"! Sending lots of love to you and yours, Glenda

A feast fit for a perfect Mom, your Sherry. Love you had family around you as we did at the farm. Mom promises to have many more Mother's Days. Love that gal. Take care of those eyes if squigglys and half moons go on. I get floaters but I can blink them away. However, they're very annoying. Life is good.....good as God.
