Do you ever wonder…..

(We are off to see Judy this morning, our favorite MAINE –i-ac)

Where dust comes from? Easy to understand living on a dirt road, you get dust, it cannot be avoided.  But on a ship that has been at sea for a month?  Aboard ship, like a base ashore, there are constant inspections. Every junior man has a cleaning space assigned, and likewise all senior folk have an area for which they are responsible.

No matter how much you clean, wipe, wash and dust; THERE IT IS! Where does it come from. I have read that most dust is dead skin from the human body, could be true.  All I know is, when you have been surrounded by water for a month, in my mind, there should be NO STINKING DUST! But there it is, always. (note to me:ask Don if that is true on submarines)

Where do those little aggravating fruit flies come from when we leave a banana out too long?  If we eat it soon enough, do we eat those sleeping bugs as eggs?

Do you wonder what happens to all that dye in colas you drink? They go in brown and come out  sorta yellow.  Then you  eat a yellow cake and that comes out sorta brown?

What will I think about all day in a Nursing Home when Sherry puts me there? (I tell them all to do that) When it comes time,  will I be mad at them, or accept it?

(Maybe if I think of sex I can smile?)

These things don’t bother some folk, but I  wonder sometimes what folks think about all day that do not have a job.  So just now I THINK, “SELF,  that might WELL  be the answer, if you had a job, you wouldn’t be concerned about this silly stuff.”

Amazing, this self analyzing, much better than paying a psychologist. I am not sure about the results though.  At my age I can consider I am saving Medicare some money.

Maybe tomorrow I won’t be thinking and can make a good entry. Thanks for putting up with my ramblings.(I do much better when I don’t think!)

This dust is too deep for me to analyze! I was taught that the main ingredient of a good counselor is that he/she listens. Go ahead and pay yourself whatever you want to charge yourself. I tried to respond to your last post - but it is acting up. I first see it but when I try to scroll down it disappears totally from the screen and will not allow me to return. Just like you said, things just happen.

I mostly think a lot of dust gathers in my brain. No, not really, I try to keep it full of a lot of good thoughts. Reading a lot will do that for me. Hope you have a good day there! Quiet morning here.

My neighbors would love it if I killed myself. I think that is why I have lived as long as I have, to spite the alcoholic neighbors.

I enjoy your ramblings actually. They are legit ponderings, I think :)

As my Dad used to say "sets a mind to ponder..."
Sure do miss him and sure am glad you two came into my life to fill a bit of the void. Jack, I love your thought process, reminds me of dear old Dad (sometimes - LOL)

I have alot of cobwebs in my head. LOL Dust is too deep a subject for me. I have some bananas I hope do not spoil, though. Tried all day to post here and could not. I have been driving a porcelain bus battling the flu and losing. Very sick. I guess it has to run its course. I will be back commenting when I feel better. Take care.
